Itinerary: Imlil Day Trip from Marrakech

Imlil Valley is at the end of the paved road and is a natural place to get the mountain guided or hiking forward. It is a good starting point for a hiking holiday or to climb Toubkal, the highest mountain in North Africa at 4167 meters above sea level, on the way to the village of Imlil you will visit the Berber women extracting argan oil (the unique Moroccan oil). On Saturdays, you can visit the Asni Berber market on foot to the Kasbah, and explore the surrounding trails, and excellent views along the Riraya valley. At this point in the mountains, it becomes a real Berber country.
