Itinerary: 5 Days Desert Tour from Fes to Marrakech

Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga Dunes

Your 5 days desert tour from Fes to Marrakech begins with the pick-up of our company driver at 8:30 am from your hotel in Fes and drive to Merzouga through the mountains of the central Atlas we will enjoy a good trip through the Berber villages. Stop in the beautiful city of Ifrane (known as “Moroccan Switzerland”), continue to Azrou, the famous cedar forest where you can see monkeys, and continue to the town of Midelt where you can take a break for lunch. After that, we will head south to Erfoud known for the fossils and their annual festival market dates through the beautiful Ziz Valley where we will stop to admire a beautiful panoramic view of the oasis landscape in the afternoon we will arrive at the stunning Erg Chebbi dinner and overnight stay at the Hotel in Merzouga.

Day 2: Merzouga Sightseeing

After breakfast in the desert countryside, we will take the camels back to Merzouga where you will shower if necessary. First, we will drive along the thousands of palm trees of Tafilalt to Rissani. This city has one of the oldest and most traditional markets in southeastern Morocco. Afterward, we will travel to Erfoud and explore some cults that produce different types of fossils. Soon we will reach the canyons of Todra, one of the most beautiful places in Morocco. Finally, the night will pass in the Todra Gorges, where it ends the third day of our 5 days tour from Fes to Marrakech.

Day 4: Todra Gorges – Dades Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate.
