8 Days from Agadir to the South of Morocco
Day 1: Agadir - Tata
After breakfast at your hotel, departure to the Tata region as a base for excursions off the beaten track, such as the Akka oasis, and the rock sculptures of Oum el-Alek, Tircht, and Ait Herbal, among the best in Morocco. After hours of driving through beautiful landscapes and mountains, we stopped for a picnic lunch. Then we continue through the beautiful landscape with beautiful stops. We arrived in Tata for dinner and overnight in a hotel.
Day 2: Tata - Foum Zguid - Erg Chigaga
Departure in the morning after breakfast to reach the high and immense sand dunes of the Erg Chigaga. Good stops to enjoy the beauty of the southern region before arriving at Foum Zguid for lunch. Then we take a track through the dry lake of Irqui before reaching the desert of Erg Chigaga with beautiful dunes and a unique silence. After enjoying the sunset on the dunes, a tasty dinner is served and the night is spent in nomadic tents or under the light of the stars.
Day 3: Erg chigaga - M’hamid - Tamgeroute - Draa Valley - Ouarzazate
After sunrise, breakfast is served at the camp, then we continue the trip to the village of M’Hamid, where you can relax. After lunch at the hotel, depart to the village of Tamegroute to visit the Koranic library and the ancient Kasbah. Then we will drive to Zagora and cross the beautiful Draa Valley to Ouarzazate, where you will have dinner and spend the night in a hotel.
Day 4: Ouarzazate - Ait Benhadou – Atlas Mountains - Marrakech
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for the Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, one of the best-preserved and most spectacular kasbahs of Morocco. It is also a famous place for Hollywood movies. After the visit, we cross the landscapes of the High Atlas Mountains at 2260 m of altitude with a lunch break on-site. We arrived in Marrakech around 17 p.m. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Marrakech - Essaouira - Marrakech
After a night of rest and breakfast in the morning, departure to the coastal town of Essaouira. After a few hours of travel, we arrive at this haven of peace to enjoy the walls of the old medina, the great port, as well as to walk along the beach. Lunch to taste in a seafood restaurant, then continue your exploration of the city before returning to Marrakech. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Marrakech (City tour)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will take a day trip with an English-speaking guide to the medina of Marrakech. The visit will include the magnificent Bahia Palace, the Saadian tombs, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Jemaa el-Fna Square, the extensive Majorelle gardens, and the colorful souks, with artisans. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 7: Marrakech - Agadir
The free morning before leaving for the city of Agadir by road. Arrival in Agadir is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
Day 8: Agadir Airport
We will take to the Airport on the time of your departure. and this day will be the end of Our 8 Days from Agadir to the South of Morocco
