9 Days Morocco Itinerary from Marrakech to Casablanca

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech

Arrive at the airport and transfer to your accommodation in Marrakech.

Day 2: Discover Marrakech

After breakfast, you will have a day tour of the city. Historical visit to Marrakech will include the Menara, a magnificent swimming pool surrounded by flowers, reflecting the image of a beautiful Moorish building built-in 1866 for dignitaries. See the glorious sunsets with the Atlas Mountains in the background. In addition, the pool is a functional irrigation system for the surrounding areas. Day 3: Marrakech - High Atlas - Tizi N'Tichka - Telouat - Ait ben Haddou - Ouarzazate

After your breakfast, you will leave Marrakech traveling towards Ouarzazate via Tizi n Tichka pass 2260, along the magnificent hills and mountains of the Atlas. you will take A break for photos, then we will take the road to The Kasbah of Glaoui in Telouet. Then you will continue via Kasbah Ait ben Haddou, you will visit the old governor of Ouarzazate; the Kasbah is marked as a world heritage by UNESCO. After lunch, After lunch, you will continue on your way to Ouarzazate “the Hollywood of Africa”, whose beautiful geography and landscapes have attracted many world-class film producers. you might choose to discover the studios of Ouarzazate, containing props used in European movies, you might have already seen, such as The Mummy, Gladiator, and The Last Temptation of Christ. “you will visit Ouarzazate studios «the Hollywood of Africa», then heading to your Riad / Hotel in Ouarzazate.

Day 4: Ouarzazate - Skoura - Rose valley – Dades Valley ( Boumaln Dades ) – Todra Gorges ( Tinghir )

After Breakfast, you will travel to Todra Gorges via the palm grove of Skoura. At the valley of roses, you will stop for photos and a visit to a manufactory of Rose, and then you will continue to visit Dades Gorges. At gorges, you will stop for lunch. Then you will descend via Dades valley, Tinghir to reach it by the afternoon, overnight, and accommodation at the heart of Todra gorges.

Day 5: Todra gorge – Rissani – Merzouga Desert

In the morning you will experience the Palm Plantationsfor for minutes of walking. Then you will head to Tinjedad city to have lunch and visit Torog which is small a village with its Palm Plantations arriving in Erfoud town to visit a local fossil craft workshop. Continue the way to the fascinating High dunes of Erg Chebbi, Merzouga. You now switch from our 4×4 to camels, where you will be taken on a camel ride on the dunes to enjoy the sunset on the dunes and overnight on a true nomad bivouac. overnight in the Berber Desert Camp.

Day 6: Tour around Merzouga

After breakfast at the Desert Camp, we will begin our Merzouga excursion to explore various interesting sites around the Erg Chebbi dunes, we will visit the Hassi Labied oasis to see its irrigation channel and agriculture of the land.

We will head south towards the seasonal lake Sriji (if there is water in it) we will continue to Khamlia village if you are interested in listening to the Gnawa music of the dark-skinned people who were brought to Morocco as immigrants over a hundred years ago and worked as slaves…

Day 7: Merzouga Desert – Ziz Valley – Cedar forest- Ifrane - Fes

After breakfast, we start your last day in the north by going through the Tafilalet palm forest, which is the largest in the world. You will see thousands of palm trees dotted along 20 km along the way. In addition, this path leads to the spectacular Ziz Valley, whose river comes from the high Atlas mountains and feeds the palm grove. So here we stop to enjoy a heavenly view of the water current.
