Itinerary: 3 Days Desert Tour from Agadir to Chegaga
Day 1: Agadir - Taroudante - Taliouine - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate - Agdz.
After breakfast at your hotel, we head east and stop at Taroudant, an ancient Moroccan city characterized by its red walls and souks, and Taliouine, famous for the production of saffron. Then we continue towards Ouarzazate and stop near Ait Ben Haddou to visit the Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and have lunch. From Ouarzazate, we will cross the beautiful palm tree of the Draa Valley to reach Agdz for a night at the hotel.
Day 2: Agdz - Zagora - Tamegroute - M’hamid - Erg Chegaga
After breakfast, depart for Zagora and stop in Tamegroute to visit its famous Koranic library, underground kasbah, and ceramics. The journey continues to M’hamid, where we will have lunch. After an hour’s camel ride in the afternoon, a trail will take us through the rocky landscape of the desert to the sand dunes of Chegaga which stretch for 40 km. Here you will be offered a welcome drink at the nomadic camp, then you will have time to walk and enjoy the sunset until Dinner. Sleep at night in tents or under a starry sky.
Day 3: Erg Chegaga - Foum Zguid - Taznakht - Agadir
After breakfast, departure with the trail through Taliouine and the dry lake of Iriqui. Then we will head towards Foum Zguid and continue towards Taznakht for lunch before taking the road to Agadir, where arrival is expected around 18:00. the end of our 3 Days from Agadir to Chegaga Desert Tour
