Itinerary: 5 Days Desert Tour from Marrakech To Fes

Day 1 : Marrakech - Telouet - Ouarzazate - Agdez.

Today, we come to pick you up at your hotel in Marrakech, and depart to Telouet above the mountains of the High Atlas passing through the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 m altitude), visit the Kasbah of Pasha Glaoui in the closet, and stop for lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon we will drive to Ait Ben Haddou along the Ounila valley with its Berber villages. You will visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou then continue to Ouarzazate. overnight at the hotel/Riad in Ouarzazate.

Day 2 : Agdez – Draa Valley – Nkob – Tazarine – Alnif – M’harech gorges.

After breakfast, we cross the Draa valley to Tansikht, on the way to Alnif, where we will have lunch. We will pass the fabulous palm grove of Nkob with its incredible kasbahs. In the afternoon, we will head towards the deep south of Morocco towards the canyons of M’harech, where we will have dinner and spend the night in a traditional riad. the second night of Our 5 Days desert Tour from Marrakech to Fes.

Day 3: M’harech – Ramlia – Ouzina – Taouz – Khamlia – Merzouga.

After breakfast, we start our day through the sandy region of Oued Ghris, passing through the desert villages of Ramlia and Ouzina, including lunch on the way. Continue to Taouz to visit some beautiful petroglyphs and a visit to a unique village called Gnawa Khamlia just before arriving in Erg Chebbi where you will spend the night in the middle of the dunes. Dinner and night in a bivouac with breakfast included.

Day 4 : Merzouga - Khamlia - Nomads people - Hassi Labied.

Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise at the top of the dune in the Sahara Desert, then have your breakfast. After these beautiful moments, you will ride on a camel to the hotel where you can take a shower. You will have a visit to the dunes in 4×4 which allows you to visit the volcanic rocks fossils black, visit a nomadic family living under a tent, visit the village of Khamlia and entertainment of its spiritual music of Gnawa, and visit Dayte Sarji Lake, which forms in the spring and attracts flamingos and wildlife. Then you will have a lunch break in Merzouga or Hassi Labied. After lunch, you will see the irrigation system of the canal and you will take a walk in the oasis at the foot of the dunes. Continue to your hotel to take a shower and relax. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 5: Merzouga – Erfoud – Errachidia – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes.

Today you will head to Rissani and discover the local market (souks). Later, you will depart for Errachidia via Erfoud, Aoufous, and the Ziz Valley, and then stop for a panoramic view of the Aoufous oasis in the Tafilalte region. Continue towards Midelt crossing the Tizi N’talghamt pass and take a break for lunch. After lunch, you will be taken to Fes (the medieval town) by the cedar forest near Azrou and the Middle Atlas mountain with the possibility of seeing the monkeys of Barbary (monks). You can make a stop in Ifrane (the Switzerland of Morocco) before arriving in Fez.
