Itinerary: 7 Days Desert Tour from Fes to Marrakech

Day 1: Arrival in Fez.

Arrive in Fez and transfer to your hotel, bed, and breakfast.

Day 2: Visit Fez.

A full day to dedicate to the visit to the spiritual and cultural capital of the Kingdom. You will have the opportunity to visit the religious, artistic, and intellectual center of Morocco. Visit the oldest medina, the Medersas of Cherratine and El-Attarine (building dedicated to religious study and Arabic style), the University of Karaouiynes, and the Nejjarine fountain. After lunch, visit the various souks of differentiated craftsmanship such as the famous tanners and the Mechouar of the Royal Palace. A night in the hotel.

Day 3: Fes - Ifrane - Midelt - Erfoud - Merzouga Dunes ( Erg Chebbi).

Check-out from your accommodation will be at 8:00. The trip to the dunes of Erg Chebbi will last 8 hours and we will see the Atlas Mountains and some villages (Tafilalet, Erfoud, and Rissani). We will stop in some cities like Ifrane and Azrou to enjoy the view of the cedar and monkey woods that live there. Lunch will be served in Midelt and then we will continue in the valley of Ziz with a beautiful view of the palm trees until we arrive at Erg Chebbi where we will make a camel excursion to reach the desert camp to spend the night in a Berber tent.

Day 4: Erg Chebbi - Discover Merzouga

In the morning we will ride an early camel to enjoy the view of the sunrise, the destination will be the hotel for breakfast and shower. Then we will explore the nomadic life and see many small villages like (Merzouga, Hassi Labied, and also Khamlia) we will drive 60 kilometers. In the afternoon, you can enjoy the swimming pool of a local hotel surrounded by beautiful views of the sand mountains.

Day 5: Merzouga - Rissani - Todra Gorges.

After breakfast, we will cross the Black Desert (Hamada) to reach Rissani and Erfoud, the fossil city, where we will visit a fossil laboratory before visiting the valley of Todra, the favorite place for climbers. There we trek before going to the hotel where we will dine and spend the night.

Day 6: Todra Gorges - Dades Valley -Ouarzazate.

After breakfast, return to the Dades Valley to the kasbah of Ait Youl where you take a track that allows you to admire the kasbahs and ksour the Valley of Roses to gather Kelâa M’Gouna. Lunch, then continue to the palm grove of Skoura, To get after Ouarzazate, Dinner and accommodation in a Kasbah.

Day 7: Ouarzazate - Kasbah Ait BenHaddou - Kasbah Tilouet - Marrakech.
