Itinerary: 6 Days Desert Tour from Fes to Marrakech and Merzouga desert

Day 1: Fez - Ifrane - Azrou Forest - Midelt - Merzouga Desert

After taking your breakfast, we will begin your ascent via the Middle Atlas mountains. Most of the day will be dedicated to meandering through beautiful forests, shredded rock walls, and Berber villages that cross the Atlas Mountains and begin to descend into the Sahara Desert. Half-way, you will stop for lunch in the city of Midelt, famous for its fossils and rocks. Upon arrival at the Kasbah of Merzouga, a hot shower or a swim in the pool (depending on the weather) will be a pleasure after the trip. night at the hotel / Riad.

Day 2: Merzouga Sightseeing.

Here, in the Sahara desert of Erg Chebbi, we start at 11:00 or earlier and follow a path through the sand dunes. Driving through these fabulous landscapes, we will see many nomadic black shops in the middle of nowhere. We’ll stop at a nomadic family to have tea and see what a non-addictive life is like. We continue our journey and discover the nomadic life of the Berber people by visiting Khamliya, a city where nothing has changed over the centuries. Either we eat here in the village of Khamliya, or we go back to our hotel for lunch there. After a nap, we embark on a camel to get to know one of the most fascinating places we will ever see, the beautiful sunset in the middle of the high sand dunes of Merzouga (Erg Chebbi). Tonight we stayed at the Berber camp and enjoy a magnificent view of the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga - Draa Valley - Agdz - Ouarzazate.

You will wake up early to see the beautiful sunrise on the dunes then you will take breakfast, with camels, or a 4×4 car. Continue to Ouarzazate via Rissani, where we will stop to visit its traditional souk, considered the largest in the south of Morocco. From here we will go to the beautiful valley of Draa with its millions of palm trees. Arrival in the evening in Ouarzazate and accommodation.

Day 4: Ouarzazate - Marrakech.

After breakfast departure for Ait Ben Haddou to see a kasbah where many films like “Lawrence of Arabia” and “Babel”. At the end of the day, we arrived in Marrakech

Day 5: Marrakech Sightseeing.
