Itinerary: 7 Days Tour from Casablanca to Merzouga Desert

Day 1: Casablanca - Marrakech

Our driver will pick you up at Casablanca airport. We will have a quick tour of the city of Casablanca – Hassan II mosque, each region, and take you to Marrakech. You will have the opportunity to explore this city by yourself. We stayed at the local riad.

Day 2: Guided tour of Marrakech

Today we will have a private guided tour of Marrakech Medina with an official guide. You will see the famous mosque of Koutoubia, the Medina, and its souks, and we will explore some of the secrets of Marrakech – the Ali Ben Youssef Koranic School, the Saadian, the Bay Palace, and the Majorelle Gardens. We also spent the night at the local riad in Medina.

Day 3: Marrakech – Tizi N’tichka – Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Dades gorges

Today we leave Marrakech and cross the Tizi n Tichka Pass of the High Atlas Mountains. We will explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. We continue to explore the Dades valley and its famous gorges, arrive at the Dades gorges, dine and spend the night in a local riad in the mountains.

Day 4: Dades Gorge - Erg Chebbi in the Sahara Desert

Today we’ll start our fourth day of 7 Days desert tour from Casablanca heading to visit Todra Gorges, the most impressive canyon in Morocco. Then we head to Erfoud and Rissani, and in the afternoon we arrive at a charming desert hotel located in the Erg Chebbi where you will dine.

Day 5: Erg Chebbi in the Sahara Desert

Today you will have the day to explore the Erg Chebbi Sahara desert. You will visit a local musical village, Khamlia, and enjoy tea with a nomadic family. Then we prepare for a camel trekking in the desert. We will stop to see the sunset and enjoy dinner under the stars in a Berber-style tent where we will also spend the night.

Day 6: Erg Chebbi - Ziz Valley - Ifrane | Fes

After waking up early, we will watch the sunrise and return to the hotel for a camel ride. After that, we head to the Ziz valley and the Middle Atlas mountains, pass Midelt, Ifrane the “Switzerland of Morocco”, and finally we will be deposited in our Riad in Fez.

Day 7: Fez Guided Tour - Casablanca

Today you will explore the UNESCO-protected medina of Fes with an official guide. Fes Medina is the oldest and most beautiful in Morocco and is a World Heritage Site. The University of Fes is the oldest in the world. We will also visit tanners and discover a terrace overlooking the tannery. In the late afternoon, we will head to Casablanca and it will be the end of our private visit to Morocco. Welcome home.
