Itinerary: 5 Days Tour in Morocco from Casablanca

Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca and Transfer to Marrakech

Upon arrival at Casablanca Airport, you will be greeted and taken to your Marrakech hotel. We will have a guided tour of Marrakech. You will discover the Palace of the Bay, the Saadian Tombs, and many other hidden treasures. After lunch, continue with a visit to the beautiful mosque of Koutoubia and the famous Jemaa el-Fna, one of the attractions of the center of Marrakech. Coming to life in the evening with local storytellers, artists, and delicious barbecues, the square is well worth a visit. The tour will end with an exploration of the souk (market). spend a night at the local Riad/Hotel.

Day 2: Marrakech - High Atlas - Tizi N'tichka curve - Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah - Ouarzazate - Rose Valley - Boumaln Dades.

After a morning pick-up from your accommodation in Marrakech, meet your guide and take the Tizi-n-Tichka pass through the Atlas mountains, where local Berber farmers work the land as they have for centuries. Head to Ouarzazate, also known as the Sahara Gate, and continue your meal (on your own) at the UNESCO-listed Aït Benhaddou kasbah. Follow your guide on a tour of the kasbah and hear about the many famous movies and photo sessions that took place there. Cross the palm and olive groves of the oasis from Skoura to Kasbah Amridil and discover its construction and history thanks to your guide. Continue through the Rose Valley to Kelaa Mgouna, a local rose plantation. Visit one of the roses co-operatives and watch the workers mix their ingredients to make pink scents, then head to their guest house in Boumalne Dades for an Overnight stay.

Day 3: Dades Gorges - Todra Gorges - Erfoud - Sahara Desert of Merzouga.

Leave Boumalne Dades after breakfast and take the famous 1000 Kasbahs road through the Dades Valley. Visit one of the valley’s traditional kasbahs and listen to your guide detail the role he has played in the region’s history. Head to the foothills of the High Atlas to the Tinghir oasis and enjoy a one-hour walk along the Todgha River, where olive trees and palm trees bloom along the river. Visit the Berber villages with your guide to meet one or two of the locals and then head to the mighty gorges of Todgha for lunch (at your expense). Travel through the oasis cities of Erfoud and Merzouga, then find your camel train in Erg Chebbi for the camel ride to the Sahara desert. Enjoy a beautiful view of the Sahara sunset, then arrive at your camp in the desert for a traditional Moroccan dinner under the stars as local nomads play traditional folk songs.

Day 4: Merzouga Sahara Desert - Ziz Valley - Midelt - Ifrane - Fez.

Wake up early to see the sunrise on the dunes. Enjoy breakfast in the desert, then return to your vehicle for the journey to the holy city of Rissani, the birthplace of seventeenth-century ruler Moulay Ali Cherif – founder of the Alawite dynasty of Morocco. Continue to Midelt for lunch (at your own expense), then head along the Ziz River, where fortified kasbahs (traditional Moroccan fortresses) lie between dense palm groves. Cross the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas Mountains and cross the fertile plains of the Saiss, where native flora and fauna flourish. In the afternoon, arrive at your riad or hotel in Fez.

Day 5: Fes – Meknes – Roman Ruins of Volubilis – Casablanca.

Our driver/guide will take you after breakfast in Fez. From there we will drive towards Casablanca, after visiting and exploring the main attractions of Meknes. We will spend time at some interesting sites in the Roman ruins of Volubilis, We will continue our journey to Rabat, where we can visit the capital of Morocco, such as the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, Hassan Tower, after the visit we will continue our way to Casablanca.
