Itinerary: 6 Days Tour from Marrakech To Merzouga Desert

Day 1: Marrakech – Telouet – Ouarzazate

Our 6 Days Tour From Marrakech to Merzouga Desert start After breakfast, We will drive to Telouet Kasbah via the High Atlas Mountains passing through the Tizi Ntichka pass reaching 2,260 m, visit the Kasbah of Pacha Glaoui in Telouet (lunch in the place). Afternoon tracks to Ait Ben Haddou via the Ounila valley with its Berber villages. Continuation to Ouarzazate. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Ouarzazate – Agdez – Draa Valley - Zagora

Day 4 : Tour Erg Chebbi - Rissani' Souk - Merzouga

If you like, we can wake up before dawn to watch the sunrise from a high dune. We will then return to the hotel, again by dromedary, to have breakfast and a shower if you wish. A 4WD air-conditioned vehicle will then take us on a tour of the area surrounding Erg Chebbi; a sandy stretch of desert where the route taken by the former Paris-Dakar Rally crosses Morocco’s great dunes, over 250 m high, with the mountains bordering Algeria in the background. We will stop at a scenic spot from where you can see the whole of Erg Chebbi. Next, we will visit Khamlia, where you can relax with a cup of tea while enjoying a concert of the Gnaoua’s spiritual music, after which we will visit the nomads of the desert and have tea with them. We will then continue to Rissani to visit the big African souk, if you like you can try the Berber pizza. We will return to the hotel.

Day 5 : Merzouga desert – Erfoud - Melaab - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley.
